How to Change the Dome
What is a Power Dome?
The Power Dome is a fully closed, dual-wall dome designed to provide the strongest seal and maximum sound amplification. It is ideal for users with moderate to severe hearing loss who require powerful, focused audio and greater control over sound leakage and feedback.

Why Choose Power Domes?
- Maximum Amplification: Fully closed design delivers louder, more focused sound directly into the ear canal.
- Superior Feedback Control: Seals the ear to prevent whistling and sound leakage, especially at higher volumes.
- Double-Flange Construction: Two-layer dome shape ensures a deeper, more secure fit that stays in place during daily wear.
- Isolated Listening Experience: Reduces external noise and distractions, making speech and sounds more clear and concentrated.
- Reliable for High-Gain Devices: Especially effective when used with power receivers or strong hearing aid configurations.

Choosing the Right Dome: What to Know
Who Is It Best For?
- Users with moderate to severe hearing loss
- Those who use high-output receivers and need strong, consistent performance
- Individuals who frequently experience feedback or sound distortion with open or vented domes
- Anyone looking for strong sound isolation and stable fit throughout the day
Which Dome Is Right for You?
Which Size Should You Choose?
- Small: Recommended for those with narrow or sensitive ear canals seeking a soft, light fit.
- Medium: The standard size that fits most users comfortably. Great starting point for new users.
- Large: Provides a firmer hold for larger ear canals or for users who prefer a more stable fit during movement.
Dome Types
The dome should fit snugly and comfortably into the opening in the user’s ear.

Domes
All domes are designed as the first line of defense against wax. At the tip of each dome is a small shield that protects the sound inlet (indicated by the green arrow). Domes should be changed at least every three months or when they become stiff or brittle. The client should wipe the dome daily with a dry tissue.
