What is a Power Smokey Dome?
The Power Smokey Dome is a fully closed, double-flange dome designed to provide maximum sound sealing and amplification. It’s ideal for users with moderate to severe hearing loss who need stronger performance and greater feedback control.

Why choose Power Smokey Domes?
- Maximum Sound Retention: Seals the ear canal tightly to prevent sound leakage and ensure powerful, consistent amplification.
- Double-Flange Design: Offers a deep, secure fit that stays in place even during active use.
- Feedback Suppression: Strong acoustic seal reduces whistling and distortion caused by sound escaping the ear.
- Optimized for Power Receivers: Specifically built to handle higher output levels from power hearing aids like Phonak P receivers.
- Discreet Look: Smokey gray color provides a more subtle and less visible alternative to clear domes.

Choosing the Right Dome: What to Know
Who Is It Best For?

Domes
All domes are designed as the first line of defense against wax. At the tip of each dome is a small shield that protects the sound inlet (indicated by the green arrow). Domes should be changed at least every three months or when they become stiff or brittle. The client should wipe the dome daily with a dry tissue.
